well, i dunno if you really did send me some positive thoughts yesterday but it did work!!
i did get the job !!! I had a five-hour job interview yesterday at kpmg(.....verrrrrrrrrrrrry long!) and they have called me 3 hours ago!
so well, I might become a woman in black as J would say on the 12th September if i accept the proposition they've made me

well, during five hours, I have to say that I've had enough time to talk about everything, including NO, Stl.... but mainly financial stuff...
I even had time to have lunch with them...
and if i do accept the job, I'll get a new laptop, a new cellphone.... yeepie!!


AND : if i still want it, I'll be working in NY or London in three years...

hi hi, I was walking near notre dame this afternoon when the guys from my favourite TV show on BBC world asked me a few questions (and the were shooting)... after that, I showed them where we could eat the best ice creams in Paris (and they were still shooting)
I guessed I was looking typically French today...
anyway, it was funny!

yeah but i dunno when!! They said they would email me... I hope they will cut the scenes where I have chocolate ice cream all over the face though....

it was so funny and I was smiling when I woke up!
Marieke, J, and you Len, came together and I was jumping around in my apt when i saw you! then we went to spend the evening near the champs elysées with nice cocktails (u came on a Friday night, just to let you know) but before that, we had been watching the sun go down on top of the arc de triomphe.
we had a crzay evening and I don't know how but Matthijs came afterwards (??) and it was a surprise for everybody
and well, the we was AWESOOOOME (so I kind of have spent the night with you guys last night, which was fun!)
I guess it's because Marieke and I had a conversation about that during the day but still...

I'm just back from an evening with my girlfriends on the champs elysées
after my dream and considering the fact that it is stilll 32°C, I had to go there for a nice diner, the arc, the cocktails...
I went to a Chicago style pizza restaurant and there comes the story : I've asked for a to-go box....
I am a bit ashamed but i thought it was the only place i could do it in paris and it worked!

anyway, I'm doing allright. I went to a wedding yesterday in an incredible castle. It was so beautiful and the food! and the wine!! and the champagne!!! mmmmmm!!
But the holidays are over : I'm starting my new job tomorrow at 8:30 at La Défense (dunno if one of you have been there before)

it's been a while... I wanted to give up this forum but since I'm not able to chat with any of you on msn (u people really DO have a life! don't you want to spend your evenings on msn?? ) since I work during the day and usually come home late, I wanted to post a message...
so well, I'm doing ok, i'm currently at la défense but in 3 weeks I'm gonna terrorize banks on the champs elysées and at opéra.... (nice places...) til March
what else could I say.... the people with who i work are all young and seem all nice.
for those who want to visit me (can't wait!) I guess November would be the best month, particularly after the 10th because i'll have my apt in Paris and "my" other place in Versailles will be emply... so we will even be able to chose where we wanna sleep... isn't that great?!...
anyway, gotta get back to work...
but it's cool though to earn some money while writing to you guys..

I need it... I find it interesting (for the moment I have been working on banks in west Africa and Italy so there was nice weirdo stuff in the financial informations) but i don't really have a life during the week anymore.... "métro-boulot-dodo" as we say in French.. (stands basically for metro-work-sleep). And on top of that, people in the street don't call me mademoiselle anymore but madame (MRS!!!!) : I guess it's because of the suit..
anyway, my sister Pauline says hi to all of you. (She is just next to me right now before leaving for a year in Syria tomorrow)
Enjoy your semester in stl! the parties, the fact of going out every night, the road trips... Marieke, Len, J and myself will meet for a crazy parisian we in november. We are going to have a lot fun and we'll try to have a minute to have a thought for you
