google earth

i have discovered it today! maybe u know it already but if u don't, do download it!
it's great i love it!
it's basically pictures taken by satellite from every part of the world and you can really zoom!!!
it was great to see the campus again, schnucks, my house, the bbh...!!!!!
and also my house here!!
and Kabul and my house in Muscat and so on... very moving.
i think utrecht is not on it though!!!

I've discovered it a couple of weeks ago. Actually I think the satellite images on maps.google.com are more actual (actuel), at least for the St. Louis part... Dunno about Utrecht or Paris, I think Americans consider their own country much more interesting..... Stil it is nice though

funny thing was, when the maps were first opened up online, the Apple headquarters in Chicago (?) weren't visible. It was just a piece of open land. Guess who co-produced the maps with Google.....MICROSOFT!!! hahah
before all these google things there already was terraserver.com (or .net?) which was pretty accurate.. I'll try to find utrecht now..

pretty interesting! I hadnt checked it out earlier but the maps of american cities are very detailed! Amsterdam however is only covered by one grid. The rest of the city is very blurry. The whole of utrecht blurred too! what a shame. but they're working on it..

now when someone asks me for my address i'm gonna say until the 1st of october :
